Mobile Premier League (MPL) have announced the launch of a premium subscription-based service for gamers called MPL VIP which will help the gaming base in India.
Mobile Premier League is growing fast and thin in the Indian gaming space and recently closed themselves to being called a Unicorn with a couple of rounds of investment from foreign Venture Capitalists. To capitalise on the surge and boost the existing gamer base in India, the Esports and skill gaming platform have announced the launch of a premium subscription-based service for gamers called MPL VIP.
The premium subscription is available at an inaugural launch price of ₹49 for 60 days and after that gamers will be charged ₹99 for 30 days, with the option to cancel at any time.
“With over 7 crore gamers on MPL in India, we felt it was the right time to introduce a subscription-based service for those who want to maximise their experience on the MPL platform. The response we have seen so far in terms of gamers‘ interest and the value that this programme has generated has been very encouraging. We plan to offer more benefits for our VIP subscribers in the days to come," said Naman Jhawar, senior vice-president, strategy and operations, MPL.
On the platform, there have been a host of special benefits and features for the premium gamers and winners will get 2% extra winnings every time they win a contest or tournament. VIP users will also get VIP tickets worth ₹5 every day through which players can participate in paid contests and tournaments on the MPL platform.
