Bangladesh will take on Zimbabwe in the third and final ODI of the series at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Friday.
After what happened in the second ODI, I am yet to get a grip on my nerves as it was jaw-dropping, gut-wrenching stuff that Zimbabwe produced. They needed 77 runs from the last 30 balls and they lost the game by just four runs and that heartbreak in cricket is worse than a breakup! Donald Tirpano came up with an innings of the highest order to almost guide his side home in a nerve-wracking thriller but my heart goes for the Zimbabwe all-rounder after that show with the bat! Bangladesh have won the ODI series already and Zimbabwe will look to salvage some pride in the last ODI in the series. I hope you guys won quite a lot of money in the previous game, but time to make more money as I am back with three of the best markets to bet on from this game. Let’s get on with it:
In case you missed out on a Tamim Iqbal classic innings, I would suggest you watch the highlights of the second ODI. The classy left-hander became the first-ever Bangladeshi batsman to have scored 7000 One Day International runs. In 206 ODI matches, Iqbal has piled up 7074 runs at an average of 36.09 including 12 centuries and 47 fifties. Against Zimbabwe, the left-handed opener has notched up 1556 runs in 40 games, averaging 39.89 with two hundreds and nine half-centuries. In the third match of the series, Tamim has scored 1414 runs at an average of 42.84 including three hundreds and 10 half-centuries. In day/night matches, Tamim Iqbal has scored 3721 runs in 100 matches at an average of 40.01 including seven centuries and 27 half tons. He is at his very best under the leadership of Mashrafe Mortaza as he averages 45.84 and has scored 3163 runs including seven hundreds and 21 fifties. Having scored a brilliant 158 runs in the second ODI, it is pretty much obvious that he is likely to continue with his run of form in the third ODI as well. Royal Panda is offering odds of 1.87 for Tamim Iqbal to score over 38.5 runs in the final game of the series.
Liton Das is making quite a name for himself in the limited-overs cricket and that is good news for Bangladesh. Having scored a brilliant hundred in the first ODI of the series, Das got out in the most unlucky fashion in the next match. He would have wanted to kick his luck because it was another opportunity for him to score some more runs on a flat Sylhet wicket. However, he still has that opportunity in the third and final game of the series. Liton Das averages 903 runs in 35 matches averaging just a little over 28 runs with two hundreds and three fifties. He has scored 246 runs against Zimbabwe at an average of 35.14 with one century and one fifty. Since Mushfiqur Rahim will not be considered for the third ODI, he will be the designated keeper and when he keeps he averages 44.80. He loves to open the innings alongside Tamim Iqbal and while opening the innings, Liton Das has notched up 410 runs in just 10 matches at an average of 45.55 and has two centuries and one fifty to his name. Royal Panda is offering odds of 1.87 for Liton Das to score over 28.5 runs in the final match of the series and that’s how you can make easy money.
A U19 World Cup sensation, Wesley Madhevere has earned a call in the senior Zimbabwe squad and has made an impact both with the ball and the bat in his first two ODI matches of his career. In his first two matches, he has scored 87 runs at an average of 43.50 including one half-century. In his last 10 innings, Madhevere has scored 18 or more runs on seven occasions and that includes all forms of cricket. Wesley has scored five half-centuries in his last nine limited-overs innings. He has been pretty sensational in the recently concluded U19 World Cup both with bat and the ball and he Madhevere is showing glimpses of brilliance already early on in his ODI career. In the ICC U19 World Cup, Wesley scored 158 runs in six matches at an average of 26.33 with two half-centuries to his name. He was also the third-highest run-scorer for Zimbabwe U19 in the ICC U19 World Cup which took place in South Africa. With odds of 1.87 (Royal Panda) for Wesley Madhevere to score more than 17.5 runs, you are unlikely to lose this bet.
