They are sitting right at the top of the tree and are expected to add two more points when they take on Ifira Sharks in this reverse fixture. Ifira Sharks are placed second on the points table with one win to their name and one loss so far. The last time these two sides collided in this first of a kind tournament, it turned out to be an interesting fixture. The only match that they have lost so far was against Mala Tafea Bulls and that was a really close encounter as the match went down to the wire. Might Efate Panthers will be playing a reverse fixture against Ifira Sharks and it will be interesting to see if they can get two in two against the latter. Joshua Rasu has been the star player in the tournament so far as he has gone on to score 103 runs in just three matches at an astounding strike rate of 223. Because of his antics with the willow, the Panthers have gone the north of 100 on two out of three occasions. Not only has he pummeled the bowlers with his bat, he has also disturbed the batsmen with the ball as well. Rasu has five wickets to his name and is eager to add more to his tally for sure.

Ifira Sharks have had a mixed start to their first ever campaign of the Betbarter Vanuatu Blast T10 League. They have won one and lost one match so far in this competition and it will be interesting to see which side of the line they would prefer. However, the last when these two sides met earlier in this tournament, it was a really low-scoring encounter as Ifira Sharks were bowled out for just 35 runs in seven overs. In reply, the Panthers struggled to chase down those 36 runs eventually getting there with five batsmen in the pavilion. But in their other fixture against Mele Tafea Bulls, Ifira Sharks chased down 62 runs but with a few hiccups as they won that match by four wickets. Their skipper Nalin Nipko would feature in the players to watch out list as he was brilliant against the Bulls with that quick fire unbeaten 33-run innings. I cannot ignore the spell of Obed Yoseph against the Bulls which had figures of 2-1-2-2 and that too in a T10 game!
