BPL Offer as Four Teams Battle It Out for the Trophy
Remember I had predicted right before the start of the tournament that Chattogram Challengers and Rajshahi Royals will make it to the playoffs? So how many of you have made tons of money with that bet? Are you interested in making a lot more than what you have already earned? Then, I am going to tell you about the teams who have the potential to lift the coveted trophy on January 17 and based on that, you can place your bets accordingly. So, shall we get going?
We have come a long way ever since the revamped edition of the Bangladesh Premier League kick-started back in December 2019. I have witnessed some scintillating cricket being played in three parts of Bangladesh (Sylhet, Chattogram and Dhaka) by some very good cricketers of the shorter formats of the game. Now it is time for them to take their game to the next level where they can push their respective sides moments closer to lift the Bangladesh Premier League trophy.

How much to invest in a bet on the favourite?
Chattogram Challengers are right now sitting at the top of the points table with 16 points and they have already qualified for the playoffs quite comfortably. However, they can lose their place to, now, second placed Rajshahi Royals. If the latter manages to beat the former in their final game of the league stage; it is because the latter has a better net run-rate than the Challengers. They can also lose their place to the Platoon if they manage to win two of their remaining encounters. In order to remain at the top of the tree, Challengers will have to win their final game of the group stage and improve their run rate. However, the kind of all-round cricket the Challengers have played in this ongoing season of the Bangladesh Premier League, there is no way one can write them off as favourites!
You can bet $1000 on Challengers to win the final and obtain a good ROI.
And what about Dhaka Platoon?
Now, Dhaka Platoon, Cumilla Warriors and Khulna Tigers will battle it out in the next couple of days. The third and fourth spot on the points table are up for grabs. The Platoon have two games in their hands to ensure their position in the playoff. Therefore, it is relatively easy for Platoon to cement their place in the knockout round. Platoon will have to play Rangpur Rangers and the Tigers in a span of two days. While Rangers cannot make it to the playoffs because of their points and net run rate, Platoon have a chance of completing a double whammy here. In fact, if they manage to beat the Tigers in the final game as well, they have a good opportunity to clinch the top spot on the points table. Platoon, have played some good cricket in the tournament so far and, they, too, will give the other contenders a run for the BPL Trophy!
My suggestion is a $500 bet. This time for Platoon to lift the trophy.
Big shot - maybe a too big?
The Royals have one game in hand and are eyeing one of the top two spots. To achieve this, they will have to win their last game of the league stage against the Challengers. It is not going to be an easy one for Andre Russell and co. Especially since they were thrashed in the previous fixture against the Challengers by seven wickets! My point being, the Royals have played some exciting cricket throughout the tournament, but it stops now. They will be bogged down by a couple of recent defeats. The Royals will fight hard to acquire the Bangladesh Premier League Trophy, obviously. Nevertheless, for this to turn out in their favour, they will not only have to win their games leading up to the final. The Final is then the biggest challenge.
How much to invest?
Nothing at all. Royals is a big shot and there is no value in the odds offered by the online betting sites.
Khulna Tigers odds to prove its value
Just like the Platoon, Khulna Tigers have two games left in their kitty. This is where things get a lot more interesting. The Mushfiqur Rahim-led side will have to face Cumilla Warriors tomorrow and then they will have to brush aside the threat fast. The Tigers final game against Platoon are taking place on Saturday! It will be a tough road ahead for the KhulnaTigers as they are coming into this stage of the ongoing BPL season. Yet, they have managed to re-assert their dominance on Cumilla Warriors last Wednesday and have cemented their place in the final four. Despite being inconsistent throughout the tournament, they definitely have a lot of potential and can go all the way. What I am interested to see is – will they reach the final? If that happens, will they be able to lift the trophy? Absolutely.
Should I risk a bigger bet on Tigers?
Yes, you should. My recommendation is to back $700 on the Tigers to win.
Bangladesh Premier League Finals - scenarios
