Leading online global games developer and publisher Garena has launched its new dedicated app for gaming videos in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
Named BOOYAH!, the app aims to create a gaming platform and community where gamers can create video content, chat with each other, and play with their favourite streamers.
Billed as an all-in-one platform, BOOYAH! allows users to stream gameplay on the app, as well as major sites like Facebook Gaming, YouTube Gaming, and Twitch. Functionality lets players chat with viewers on all platforms with no costs incurred.
Gamers can set-up custom rooms giving viewers the chance to join the action and play against other streamers. All users can upload and share existing gaming video content saved on their devices.
A Sportskeeda article also reports on how users can link their Garena Free Fire account to BOOYAH! The app can automatically generate game highlights from the popular battle royale game.
Players can share these compilations on social media or choose to save them to their devices.
To celebrate the launch of BOOYAH!, Garena has several exciting events for players. The Streamer Power series that ran in April and gave viewers the chance to win Free Fire loot boxes returns this month. The company promises more prizes and more chances of winning.
The Daily Tasks promotion that recently finished will be back on May 11 with the opportunity for players to get Free Fire Diamonds as rewards for completing gaming challenges.
For serious players, May 1 saw the launch of a Streamer Programme, where BOOYAH! streamers can earn real money dollars or Free Fire Diamonds.
Garena's flagship title, Free Fire, was the most downloaded mobile game of 2019 and was awarded the 'Best Popular Vote Game' by the Google Play Store the same year.
The Singapore-based firm recently teamed up with Paytm First Games to host the first Free Fire Solos 2020 tournament.
