Paytm First Games has put to pen to paper on a deal to sponsor the Jamaica Tallawahs, two-time champions of the Caribbean Premier League.
The company will be the gaming partner of the side during the 2020 Hero CPL, which will be held from 18 August to 11 September in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Paytm logo will be on the team's shirt, website, and other promotional spots during match days. The viewership of the CPL is around 200 million people, with India responsible for 50% of the figures alone.
In a press release announcing the deal, Sudhanshu Gupta, COO, Paytm First Games said, "We are excited to partner with Jamaica Tawallahs, one of the strongest teams in the Caribbean Premier League. This will help us take Paytm First Games to a wider audience with our exhaustive array of amateur games, esports and fantasy gaming."
The new is the third big sponsorship deal of the week. Dream11 were confirmed as title sponsors of the Indian Premier League (IPL), while Mobile Premier League (MPL) became the principal sponsor of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.
