SPiCE India 2020 – Events, Agenda and Sneak-Peek

Eventus International’s 3rd edition of the Strategic Platform for iGaming Conference & Exhibition in India (SPiCE India) is only a month away. The event will be held at Marriott Resort & Spa in Goa, India, from 25th to 27th March 2020.

As per SPiCE event’s website, the focus of this year’s event will be to explore industry challenges and opportunities, understand the regulatory landscape of the industry, explore the innovations and advances in the field, and identify opportunities for operators and associated companies to maximise their growth potential.

SPiCE 2020 will host pre and post event parties, a gala award ceremony, and poker events for the attendees.

Besides all the fun, Day 1 will focus on gaming affiliates. The opening remark of the Chairperson on this day will be followed by a panel discussion on how to promote, develop and improve a gaming website without fail. Other panels will focus on innovative approaches to receiving money as an affiliate, and which operators to work with. There will be presentations on e-wallets and ‘Affiliate and legal consideration’. The day will conclude with SP”ICE” Breaker pre-event party.

On the second day of the event, a Keynote speech will be delivered by Sai Srinivas Kiran G, CEO and Co-founder, MPL. There will be panel discussions on topics like how gaming companies can take advantage of the Digital India revolution, and what’s next for fantasy sports in India. There will be roundtables on monetizing social games and expectations for the Indian market when sports betting is legalised.

On Day 3 of the event, panel discussions will cover topics like opportunities and challenges for the casino industry, the lottery industry in India, and innovation in online poker and rummy in the country. The roundtables on this day will revolve around AI and blockchain in gaming, raising funds for startups, and strategies to grow and retain players on platforms.

There will be more than 40 providers and 600 attendees at the show that will host 12 networking sessions.

The SPiCE Awards to be held on the last day of the event will recognize companies and people in categories including Skill Gaming Operator of the Year (Non-Fantasy), Poker Operator of the Year, Fantasy Gaming Operator of the Year, Technology Provider of the Year, Affiliate Platform of the Year, Emerging Startup of the Year, Developer of the Year, Legal Adviser of the Year, and SPiCE Speaker of the Year. Companies can nominate themselves for these accolades to be awarded at SPiCE.

Attendees can download the free, official app for the SPiCE event. The app houses the event’s agenda to help schedule one’s day. Personalised notifications from organisers will also be delivered to the app besides presentation documents and slides. One can also use the app to chat one-on-one with other attendees, share cabs (Uber/Lyft) to go to the conference/event, and plan social activities like city tours, meet-ups and morning runs with others on the app.

SPiCE 2019 was held at the same location last year with events like SP”iCE” Breaker (a casual pre-event networking evening), two days of talks, panel discussions and debates, “SPiCE It Up” poker tournament aboard Deltin Royale, and Table Talk Networking Dinner.
