WinZo Announces Partnership with Rein Games and Deftouch to Reach 20M Users
WinZo, the social gaming platform, has partnered with Rein Games and Deftouch to reach 20 million Indian users with live multi-player pool and cricket games.
WinZo is backed by mobile messaging app Hike and investment group Kaalari Capital, who also back Deftouch. Rein Games counts on the support of Titan Capital, making this a significant tie-up for the Indian gaming industry.
In the last few months alone, WinZo has put pen to paper on deals with over 50 indie developers and gaming studios, including Garena - famous for the runaway success of its FreeFire game - and Nazara Technologies.
The mobile e-Sports gaming platform also recently announced a contract with Tecent to make PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUGB) tournaments available in 12 languages.
Much of WinZo's success is down to its micro-transaction model, which makes gaming accessible to a huge audience, and has helped drive 10X growth in the past year.

Noida-based start-up Rein Games was founded in 2018 and is best known for their R8 Ball Pool Pro product. Together with WinZo, the pair have improved this offering to include hyper-realistic features and the ability for users to play with friends in India's first-ever private real-time pool experience.
Within one week of the launch of Pool on its platform, WinZO is seeing an average time spent on the game of nearly an hour, reports Businessworld.
WinZO has combined with Deftouch to monetize their biggest game, All Star Cricket. All Star Cricket is one of the most popular multi-player cricket games. Now the game is truly multi-player, with players able to bat, while their friends bowl and vice versa.
