WI vs IND 3rd ODI Predictions & Betting Tips

India and West Indies will lock horns in the third and final ODI of the three match series on Wednesday, July 27 at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad. India won the high-scoring first encounter at the same venue on Friday by three runs. In the following match, Axar Patel's heroics saw India win by two wickets in yet another final over finish. India have already sealed their 12th consecutive bilateral ODI series win after taking an unassailable 2-0 lead. They would eye a whitewash when they take the field on the last 50-over match of the tour. West Indies might have lost both the matches, but the Nicholas Pooran-led team has shown major improvement in the format. Notably, they could not cross the 200-run mark even once in the 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh but in the ongoing series they have scored in excess of 300 on both the occasions. India have beaten West Indies in each of their last seven ODIs. Overall, the two sides have played 138 ODI matches against each other. India have won 69 times while West Indies have emerged victorious on 63 occasions. As we gear up for the 3rd ODI, I have brought to you the best three betting tips from the WI vs IND 3rd ODI head-to-head encounter.

WI vs IND Player Bet:

Nicholas Pooran, Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer are my top three player betting tips for the WI vs IND 3rd ODI. Have a look at it for reaping the best returns.

Nicholas Pooran to score over 25.5 runs

West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran scored crucial 74 runs off 77 balls in the first ODI and helped West Indies post 311 runs on the board in the second ODI on Sunday. His innings consisted of one four and as many as six sixes. He looked set for a three-figure mark but gave away his wicket while trying to increase the tempo. He had also got a start in the first ODI, scoring 25 runs in the series opener. The 26-year-old has come good ever since taking the responsibility from now retired Kieron Pollard. In the T20I series against Bangladesh in the first week of July, the southpaw scored 74 unbeaten runs in the second match. He then also scored 73 runs in the third ODI against the Bangla Tigers. West Indies were three down for 16 before he stitched multiple partnerships and saved his team from another embarrassing ODI cricket outing. The hosts were whitewashed but Pooran showed why he was the captain of the squad.

The southpaw has scores of 74, 25, 73, 0, 18, 74* and 34 in his last seven white-ball innings. In the T20I series against India in February, Pooran scored 18, 9 and 34 runs before hitting 61, 62 and 61 runs in the following three T20I matches. Overall, Pooran has played 48 ODIs and scored 1392 runs at an average of 35.69. He has one hundred and ten fifties to his name. In 12 matches against India, the Trinidad-born has scored 453 runs at an average of 45.30. The batter is also familiar with the Indian bowlers as he has played a lot with and against them in the IPL. The SRH star looks set for another fine innings in the third and final ODI. If you feel the same, head over to 1XBET and keep an eye on Nicholas Pooran from the WI vs IND 3rd ODI head-to-head encounter.

Sanju Samson to score over 25.5 runs

India wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson scored 54 off 51 runs in the second ODI on Sunday. The crucial knock from the 27-year-old saw him score three fours and as many fours. In the three ODIs Samson has played so far, he has scores of 46, 12 and 54 respectively. With the 3-match series already under India's pocket, the Kerala-born star will look to play more freely on Wednesday. The Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain has played 104 List A matches and scored 2676 runs at an average of 30.06. Samson made his India debut back in 2015 and has enough exposure at the highest level of cricket. 138 IPL matches, which have seen him score 3526 runs at an average of 29.14, have also seen him rub shoulders with the biggest names in white-ball cricket. His last three white-ball innings for India have seen him score 54, 12 and 77 runs. After hitting his maiden ODI fifty in the previous match, a confident and very talented Sanju Samson looks set to score again in the third ODI. Shreyas Iyer to score over 30.5 runs

Ahead of the first and second ODI, we had predicted that Shreyas Iyer would be among top run-scorers for India. He hasn't disappointed us till now. The 27-year-old scored 54 runs off 57 balls in the first match and in the second encounter against the maroon outfit, he scored 63 runs off 71 balls. In the press-match conference after the second ODI, Iyer made his intentions clear that he would be looking to make up for the lost chances and scored a hundred in the last 50-over match of the tour.

Ahead of the series, the Mumbai batsman looked completely out-of-form. His weakness against the short balls was in public and the England bowlers dismissed him time and again in the recently-concluded tour which consisted of as many as six white-ball matches. Iyer got only two games to play because of his dwindling form. In the third T20I, he looked uncomfortable during his 23-ball stay which saw him score 28 balls. He fell to a short ball in the match again. He was part of the first ODI in absence of unfit Kohli but did not get an opportunity to bat as India won by 10 wickets. Prior to the England tour, he was part of the 5-match home T20I series against South Africa where he scored 94 runs at an average of 23.50. But it's not always easy to keep a batsman of Iyer's quality quiet. As predicted the slow pitches in the West Indies are favouring his style of batting and he is making the opportunity count. Iyer has played a total of 29 ODI matches and scored 1064 runs at an average of 42.56. He has one hundred and eleven fifties to his name in the format. He has played nine matches against West Indies and scored 463 runs at an average of 57.87. Iyer has scores of 63, 54, 80, 7, 53, 70, 65 and 71 runs in his last eight innings against West Indies. The talented KKR captain looks set to score big yet again against West Indies. If you feel the same, head over to 1XBET and keep an eye on Shreyas Iyer from the WI vs IND 3rd ODI head-to-head encounter.
