Multan Sultans will take on Lahore Qalanders in the third match of the Pakistan Super League Season 7 at the National Stadium, Karachi.
Multan Sultans began their title defense with a dominating seven-wicket win over Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League 2022 opener thanks to Imran Tahir’s brilliant three for 16 and Mohammad Rizwan’s breezy 52 not out off 47. They will take on Lahore Qalandars on January 29, 2022, at the same venue in order to have an early-mover advantage. On the other hand, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, Lahore won’t be an easy side to get past as Multan understood the last season.
Fakhar Zaman is a star of Pakistan cricket and his value in the set-up is not even a point of argument. In a 173-match career, Zaman averages 26.51 in T20s at a strike rate of 132.46 and has 27 fifties and a century to his name. With 26 30s beyond that, it is understandable why Zaman is such a lucrative bet to manage for. In domestic T20s, his average increases to 28.52 while his runs per dismissal stand at 33.50 in the wins. He is a fantastic chaser, averaging 33.50 while batting second but given he averages 23.19 with the bat while batting first, one can rest assured there is enough ammunition to maintain here. In 50 matches for Lahore Qalanders, the opening batter has piled on 1351 runs at an average of 27.57 and a strike rate of 133.50. Even though he couldn’t add much value in the home series against West Indies, Zaman showed the perfect example of his hot form in the 2021 edition of the Pakistan Super League in which he averaged 31.89 in 10 matches. From the evidence of it, there are clear indications that Zaman can shine with the bat.
Mohammed Rizwan carried his excellent form to yet another game, scoring a fluent fifty to kick start Multan Sultans’ title defense in 2022. It was never a surprise as CricketPrediction.com had warned you beforehand. Rizwan’s form has become ground-breaking and epoch-defining in its own way. Currently, he averages 39.85 in T20s and his last five innings read- 53, 87, 38, 78, and 40. That is some crazy consistency. In domestic T20s, Rizwan averages 34.66, and that further boosts to 49.23 in wins. He carries on his sublime display both while batting first and second, averaging 40.00 and 39.71 respectively but what makes him standout is his performance for Multan Sultans for whom he averages 45.45. At the National Stadium in Karachi, he averages 53.91 and in Pakistan, his overall number stands at 42.78. In the 2021 PSL, the wicket-keeper batter averaged a stunning 45.45 and carried that form to average 98.50 in South Africa in Pakistan T20I Series 2020/21 and 67.67 in West Indies in Pakistan T20I Series 2021/22. Overall, his 2021 T20 average of 56.56 is a classic reminder of the fact that he is the best in the world in this period. Hence, it is advisable to bet big on him through our affiliate partner Parimatch and that will ensure you will have a lot of money in the bank.
Tim David has already played and impressed in the PSL, CPL, The Hundred and Royal London Cup before making his way to Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2021 but his talent was first on a show for his national team Singapore. After playing Singapore’s last T20WC qualifier match against Namibia in October 2019, David smashed a stunning 32-ball 92* in his first match back, against Malaysia in March. He then followed the 92* up with another explosive 58 against Hong Kong, which came off just 46 balls. In between, he also played a couple of mini-cameos for the Scorchers in which he showcased his six-hitting ability. Currently, in his 78-match T20 career, David averages 33.08 at a brilliant strike rate of 154.77. In 14 international matches, he averages 46.50 but his average in wins stands at a commendable 54.35. In 39 matches that his side batted first, in domestic and international combined, David averages 43.84. His exploits in the PSL are well-known as well, as he averages 45.00 for Lahore Qalanders. Never ever in his career has David averaged below 30 with the bat and that is an excellent benchmark to have. On this, you can make a lot of money with prudence through Parimatch.
