Peshawar Zalmi won PSL 2026. They beat Hyderabad Kingsmen by 5 wickets in the final at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 3 May 2026. It was their second PSL title and their first since 2017. Before the playoffs, our PSL 2026 predictions gave Peshawar the best title chance, at 48%.
Hyderabad were all out for 129 in 18 overs, and Zalmi got to 130 for 5 in 15.2 overs. Aaron Hardie was Player of the Final with 4 for 27 and 56 not out. Sufyan Moqim was Player of the Tournament and took 22 wickets, the most of the season, to win the Fazal Mahmood Cap. Babar Azam was the leading run-scorer with 588 runs and won the Hanif Mohammad Cap. That matched Fakhar Zaman’s 2022 record for the most runs in one PSL season.

Final league NRR sealed the playoff bracket
The final league NRR table separated three sides on 10 points: HK (-0.361) edged into 4th, LQ (-0.482) and KK (-0.869) eliminated. The playoffs followed from 28 April to 3 May, with Peshawar Zalmi beating Hyderabad Kingsmen in the final at Gaddafi to take the title. Babar Azam made 103 off 59 balls in the Qualifier, his second hundred of the season. Hyderabad Kingsmen won Eliminator 2 by 2 runs, with Hunain Shah Player of the Match, to reach the final in their first season.

How Every PSL 2026 Team Finished
The teams are listed in the order they finished. Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindiz were the new names. Rawalpindiz grew out of the old Multan team, which Walee Technologies bought at auction in February. The Multan Sultans name went to the team first sold as Sialkot.

Babar’s two hundreds were 100 not out off 52 balls against Quetta on 19 April, when Peshawar made 255/3 and won by 118 runs, and 103 in the Qualifier.
Where PSL 2026 Was Played
PSL 2026 was played at two grounds: Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, with 22 matches each. The PCB first announced six venues on 10 March: Faisalabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar and Rawalpindi. On 22 March it moved all matches to Lahore and Karachi. The league then began with no fans in the grounds, as part of national steps to save fuel. Fans returned for the playoffs.
- Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore: 22 matches, including the opening game, both Eliminators and the final. It also hosted the 2022, 2023 and 2025 finals.
- National Bank Stadium, Karachi: 22 matches, including the Qualifier. The ground was formerly called the National Stadium, Karachi.
Toss, Dew and Chasing in PSL 2026
Chasing sides won 28 of the 43 PSL 2026 matches that produced a result. At Gaddafi Stadium they won 15 of 21, and at the National Bank Stadium they won 13 of 22. Captains who won the toss chose to bowl first in 32 of those 43 matches.

How Our PSL 2026 Predictions Did
We published previews for 25 of the 44 PSL 2026 matches, with all four playoff games among them. Each preview gives both teams a win chance and covers the head-to-head record, venue, toss and odds. Before the playoffs, our PSL 2026 predictions put Zalmi’s title chance at 48%. Next came Islamabad (24%), Multan (18%) and Hyderabad (10%).

Where PSL 2026 Was Broadcast
The PCB named its PSL 11 broadcasters on 24 March. India was not on the list, because the PCB held back the India rights.

India: The PCB has not sold PSL 2026 broadcast rights in India. It sold the season’s global media rights without the India region, and no Indian broadcaster carried PSL 11. No legal streaming option exists for Indian fans this season.

When was PSL 2026 played?
PSL 2026, the 11th season, ran from 26 March to 3 May 2026. The 40 league matches ended on 26 April, and the playoffs ran from 28 April to the final on 3 May: 44 matches in all.
How did the PSL 2026 format work?
Eight teams, up from six, were split into two groups of four. Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators made up one group. Hyderabad Kingsmen, Islamabad United, Multan Sultans and Rawalpindiz made up the other. Each team played the other three in its group twice and the four teams in the other group once, 10 league matches each. The top four on the overall table went into the Qualifier (1st v 2nd) and Eliminator 1 (3rd v 4th). Eliminator 2 then paired the Qualifier loser with the Eliminator 1 winner.
Where was PSL 2026 played?
Only in Lahore and Karachi. Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore and the National Bank Stadium, Karachi hosted 22 matches each. The PCB had planned six venues, but on 22 March it moved every match to the two cities and began the league behind closed doors as a fuel-saving measure. Fans returned for the playoffs.
