Frequently Asked Questions
What is value betting?
Value betting means only placing bets when your assessed probability is higher than the bookmaker's implied probability. If you believe a team has a 60% chance but odds imply 50%, that's a +10% edge. Over time, positive expected value (+EV) bets generate profit.
How do you calculate edge?
Edge = Our Probability - Bookmaker Implied Probability. For example, if we assess Team A at 65% and the odds are 1.80 (implying 55.6%), the edge is +9.4%. We only bet when edge is ≥2%.
What are your staking rules?
We use fixed fractional staking based on edge size. 2-5% edge: ₹50 (0.5 units). 5-8% edge: ₹100 (1 unit). 8%+ edge: ₹150 (1.5 units). This keeps risk proportional to our advantage.
Why do some tips say 'No Bet'?
We analyse every match but only bet when there's genuine value. If our probability assessment matches or is lower than the bookmaker's, there's no edge. We still publish our prediction for transparency, but recommend skipping the bet.
What is your starting bankroll?
We started with ₹10,000 on 26 December 2025. 1 unit = ₹100 (1% of starting bankroll). This page tracks every bet with full transparency—wins, losses, and pending results.
How often do you update this page?
Results are updated after each match is completed. We update the result (win/loss) and match score for every bet. Pending bets are shown in yellow until the match finishes.
